Manchester based Costumer, The last year Laurie has been touring as Tailor for the Madonna Celebration Tour which finished with a 1.6million crown in Brazil.

 

Laurie wrapped her second feature length film "The Ceremony" for Strive Films in 2023. As well as Designing for shorts she branched into Design for music videos. Her first Feature Film "Wait For Me" Old Hall Films - will be Premiering in the 2023 Manchester Film Festival.

Laurie has also been a maker in the workrooms for The House of Guinness, My Lady Jane, Firebrand, Gallows Pole and Outlander season 6 in which she worked across women and menswear for these period productions. Laurie began her career as a maker working predominately for the Royal Exchange Theatre working as the Tailors Assistant, she stepped into making for screen by working as a daily for adverts and TV shows such as SKY's The Rising and Intergalactic.

 

​Laurie graduated in 2017 with a First Class Honours in Costume with Textiles from the University of Huddersfield.​​
