Laurie was a Maker in the 18th century workroom for this series, she had the opportunity so be the sole leather maker for the principle characters as well as focusing on the mens britches and waistcoats, she also worked on several women's bodices and skirts.

As Junior Maker for the Womenswear department, Laurie worked mostly on the principle skirts, finishes for bodices, chemises and fichus.Before settling into Womenswear she also did three weeks of menswear which included, coats and britches for crowd.
Intergalactic Episode 8, Daily Costume Maker

Laurie was brought in for one week as a maker for episode 8 to make a space suit. Working as a team to create this costume, her focus was the trousers and vest.
Royal Exchange Theatre Costume Maker (2016-2022)
Laurie has worked as an in-house freelancer for the theatre over many years, in both menswear and women wear but mostly as the Tailors Assistant.
Bridal Cutter and Maker (2020)
The biggest challenge in a Costumiers life is when their sister gets married and wants a bespoke dress! One of my proudest achievements was watching my sister walk down the isle in the dress I had designed and made for her. Strapless and Backless with a lace cami and lace train to match.
Next to the bride walked my father also wearing a waistcoat designed and made special for him.
